Ukraine Crisis 2022: Prayers and Readings

March 3, 2022

Dear NAJC Colleagues and Friends,

In light of the current events in Ukraine, we reach out to our beloved colleagues, supporters, and friends with words of Hizuk and Nechama. As Jews, we see names in the news of places that are enmeshed in our personal and collective history. As chaplains engaged in the concerns of the wellbeing of others and as people who are part of the larger human family, our hearts are heavy with the horror of war.

We send our prayers for peace to all those affected by the current situation. ….

May the Creator of peace heal the broken hearted, protecting and uniting all of us in the image of God.
